´The dancing beech´

This beautifull tree is known as ´Dansebøgen´ in the little town where I live. The special beauty of it however, is caused by a genetic disorder, that makes the tree unable to control own growth. In danish it is called Vrangebøg, and translated I guess it is something like disorderd beech.

Anyway, to me this tree is among the most beautifull in the world.

I have given this tree its own page on my blog with more pictures: http://alicesoesser.blogspot.dk/p/skoven.html

  11. What a beautiful tree, caught in the act of dancing. So different from those around. Your photo is full of delightful symbolism.
